Payment is easy –
use the form that is included with you application to arrange for automatic monthly payment deductions from your bank account (PAYMENT
AUTHORIZATION FORM).
Until the severance is complete, CSLEA is obligated to
represent you in contract negotiations and to provide you with labor
services in defending the contract –

P.O.C. does not
open you up to any liability. You’ll have
Legal Defense, Insurance, and contract
defense.
Reducing your CSLEA dues is, unfortunately, harder
to do. The first step is to figure out what sort of CSLEA member you
are:
MEMBERS
pay about
$66
per month in dues
plus
between $4.75 and $15 per month for your affiliate. This entitles you to
Legal Defense
and insurance
benefits.
FAIR-SHARE
FEE PAYERS
pay
$65.37 per month in dues with no
affiliate share. You do not receive Legal Defense or insurance benefits.
FAIR-SHARE OBJECTOR FEE PAYERS
pay
$32.24 per month for 2010 and do not
receive
Legal Defense or insurance benefits.
This is the minimum membership level for those who
object to their dues money being spent on activities not directly
related to the contract.
