DOJ Security Officers

Donate to P.O.C. so we can continue fighting for your Rights:

Officers at the LA Science and Industry Museum are largely unrepresented by CAUSE / CSLEA.  The fewer than three dozen full-time officers are part of the larger CALEE board that represents over 1,000 members. CAUSE / CSLEA might come visit you once a year or ask you for a list of your issues, but who would do a better job representing you than you?  This is a union for the members by the members.

You will have a seat on a board with fellow Peace Officers who do similar jobs as you, the Cal Expo police who provide facilities policing services for such things as the State Fair, and the LA Science and History Museum Officers.  Each of these groups is roughly the same size as your organization in total personnel hours.  The PSA President who sits on the Peace Officers of California (P.O.C.) Board will be elected by a general membership vote of the three job classes.

All the staff from the union who have tried to help you in the past are gone.  The staff at CAUSE / CSLEA has turned over more than 3-times since Alan Barcelona has been president in the last 15-years.  In fact, Sam McCall, CAUSE / CSLEA’s former Chief Legal Council of 25-years, who cared greatly about your issues and got other members of the union to care about your issues was fired.

You can be part of the change to help State Peace Officers gain pay-parity:
